Residential Concrete Work

We do concrete work on nearly 100 homes a year in the Denver Colorado area.  This type of work is our bread and butter and we've gotten very good at it.  Here are some sample images.

You can see here some concrete steps that have just been poured.  The inner forms have been removed but the outer ones are still on.  Soon, we will remove the forms completely.  Then we will do our best to rearrange the landscaping such that you would think the steps have always been there.

The next day, the steps will be safe to use and the job will be complete!

Often times we will need to remove concrete or asphalt or even trees!  We have the equipment necessary to do this type of work. 

In this case the sharply rising asphalt was constantly hitting the bottom of owner's car.  We re-graded it and as a bonus, less water stays near his house when it rains heavily. 

Here are some pictures of another driveway we worked on.  In this picture, we have finished clearing and prepping the site and are starting the pour.  The workers wear tall ruber boots as they will be wading thru fresh concrete!

We also did the walk way and the wide steps into the house.  You can see the forms that contain the poured concrete.

These are setup and inspected by the homeowner before the pour.  This is done so that the homeowner can make small corrections or changes. We want to get it perfect!  Clearly, once its poured, it becomes harder to make changes.

Shaping large slabs of concrete is an art.  The worker must keep several things in mind while working the material.  The slope and drain must be correct to prevent pooling of water.  Additionally, the work must be done quickly so that the concrete has a chance to set correctly.
